Back-to-School Message from the Chancellor
Dear Rhodes Elementary Parents and Guardians,
We are excited to begin a new school year and look forward to partnering with you to ensure a successful, safe, and engaging learning experience for every scholar.
As a reminder, the first day of school is Monday, August 10th. Below you will find our first day procedures. Parents/Guardians will not need to check into the Admissions Office on this day.
Kindergarten Scholars:
Parents and guardians may accompany their child into the classroom for the first 30 minutes of the school day. After this time, scholars will begin following their regular daily schedule.
Scholars in Grades 1–6:
Parents and guardians are welcome to walk their child onto campus on the first day. When the 7:50 a.m. bell rings, all parents and guardians must exit the campus so that students can begin their instructional day. Scholars will then follow their normal daily schedule.
The first day of school is an exciting milestone, and we appreciate your support in helping us create a smooth transition for all Scholars. Our staff is ready to welcome students and help them start the year with confidence, enthusiasm, and a commitment to success.
Thank you for your continued partnership and dedication to your child's education. Together, we will make this school year an exceptional one.
Warm regards,
Stephenette Graham, Chancellor
